A new movement started by presidents of various colleges across the country has sparked a controversial national debate. The Amethyst Initiative is a petition that has gained over one hundred signatories of college presidents calling for the rethinking of the legal drinking age.

The 5th annual Foamfest presented by the Colorado State Fair and The Colorado Institute of Brewing, was held Saturday August 23rd. Breweries from across the country competed in twenty-seven style categories.
